Hope you all had a great weekend 🙂
Now, before I can talk about today’s outfit post, I would like to apologize for the hurried post yesterday. A friend was waiting for me and I told myself that I wouldn’t leave the house before I made a post! Moving on, in case you wanted to know where I got my stuff for yesterday’s post, here it is:
Earrings – Gifted
Bangles – Formerly my mum’s
Jacket – Ngara Market
Top – Gifted (Got in Malaysia though)
Corduroy Pants – (Formerly flared pants that I altered to become skinnies) Ngara Market
Shoes – Cotton On (Malaysia)
Okay, back to today’s post. So today has been quite the day. Up and down, here and there and spending most of my time fighting the urge to sleep in traffic! Went for a birthday lunch with a few family members and friends. We went to Valencia Gardens, it’s such a great place for a chilled out afternoon lunch! Plus, it has a bouncing castle and face painting for all y’all who are still children at heart :-).
A view of the gardens from the lower grounds.
The beautiful birthday girl :-).
Moving on to today’s outfit, I hadn’t really intended to wear jeans and a blouse. I’d initially opted for a maxi skirt and a top but I got late so I didn’t have enough time to iron the skirt! So I settled (sigh) for jeans and a chiffon top that I have had for almost 3 years that I recently decided to start wearing again. It was one of those wash-and-wear kinda outfit days.
PS- I’m trying to steer clear of wearing jeans often, a girl’s wardrobe should have skirts and dresses as well! Speaking of which, I shall have outfit posts in the near future of new items that I purchased recently.
I like how this top gives the illusion of a peplum waist, all thanks to the belt it came with that helps cinch in my waist :-).
I have rekindled the dying flame that was my relationship with this blouse. I love it! It makes you look all prim and proper effortlessly.
Studs – Mr. Price
