Bet you’re all wondering what’s with the weird blog title, right? Well, I was called yesterday to go in for an interview at a certain financial institution. Actually, I was called in for a psychometric test. Hence the blog title. I must say, it had been the first time I’d worn formal clothing in months! So I decided to go with wearing my sort of go-to outfit when it comes to looking formal but not too formal. Wore black pants, a yellow top and a black and white print jacket. If you ask me, I think black and white prints go well with bright colours, which could be used to ‘break’ the outfit. In my case, I used yellow.
According to Wikipedia, (yes, I googled the meaning!) psychometrics is the field of study concerned with the theory and technique of psychological measurement, which includes the measurement of abilities, knowledge, attitudes, personality traits, and educational measurement. Thought I’d randomly include that, just in case any of you still didn’t know what I was talking about!
Moving on, I went for a sort of monochromatic look, but I decided to wear a brown bag. Well, there’s many reasons as to why I did that: I think brown goes well with yellow, hadn’t used this bag in ages (!), it fit
most ALL of my stuff in it. Plus, I felt like such a career lady with it! LOL :-).
Got my hair straightened today and I must say it feels different! I think I wanna cut it. Or maybe I’m just obsessed with cutting my hair!
What do you think?
Forgive me in this pic, this was after a loooong day!
