I have wanted to post about this skirt for the longest time! This outfit was the initial outfit I had wanted to wear for The Mingle but the weather changed so drastically that I changed my mind at the last minute. So I decided to wear this outfit this past Saturday, when -as mentioned in my previous post– I went to watch Skyfall with my sweetheart. Have you ever had this outfit that you plan to wear for a specific day but it keeps being postponed for whatever reason? That was the case with this skirt. Oh well. Glad I finally got to wear it and I loved it! Okay, first my dad took one look at it and told me to go back and change but I refused! So he settled with as long as I was comfortable then he also was. Yay! 🙂
I had to settle with taking look pics at dusk. Couldn’t imagine repeating this exact same outfit just to take look pics with it. I have many more ways to dress this skirt though!
Coming to think of it, seems like my outfit was centred around a sort of ‘rustic/antique’ theme.
I like the buttons on this jacket!
The skirt is actually quite sheer so I wore an electric blue long top that goes until just above my knees.
I always get made fun of that I have sausage toes! All you haters can just disappear! Ha ha :-p.
Do you ever have any outfits that you can’t wait to wear on a certain day then the weather ruins it? I have so many of those days!
Hope you’re all having a great midweek!
