Today’s post will be all about these fabulous African print kente pants that I got recently courtesy of Boutique Mahali. Boutique Mahali is a new fashion house created by my very good friend Charity. At Boutique Mahali, it’s all about contemporary African fashion at affordable prices. They make-to-measure as well as having ready-made clothing items. What I love most about Boutique Mahali is that the finishing of the clothes is of the best quality. The designs are amazing and they taking African prints to the next level! Love! :-). I wore the pants for my girlfriend Kui’s birthday dinner and night out.
Because of the pants, I decided to centre my look around a tribal-esque theme. I thought it would make the outfit look more put-together. I wore the pants with a sheer electric blue top, a black cropped jacket that my mum got me last year, my brown wedges, red tribal-y earrings, and wore a Chanel cross-body bag that I borrowed from my cousin Stephanie.
I managed to steal the fabric from my Mum (:-)) and get these pants done. Couldn’t imagine them looking more fabulous than this! Btw, Boutique Mahali also sells African kitenge fabric that you can use to make outfits and other things. Love how African fabric is so versatile!
Me posing in the club! Got a lot of stares that night and I know the pants definitely did their job! 🙂
Started the night at a Chinese restaurant where we had a sumptuous dinner and drinks, then headed out to the club! (Photos are a little mixed up!)
How pretty is the birthday girl? And her hair is amazing! Kui, pleeeease don’t relax your hair? *on bended knees* 🙂
Walking with heels on a slippery floor! Thank God none of us slipped! Ha ha :-).
Taking pics as we waited for the cab guy. He took a while! Ha ha! I think we were among the last ones to leave the restaurant.
We had so much fun! And the best part is that the birthday girl didn’t remember some parts of the night :-p.
