Happy Hump Day!
I’ve been trying to post this outfit since Monday but as usual…. PROCRASTINATION. I’m always telling myself that I’ll post as soon as I’m done with A,B,C… and then after I’m like, okay, I’ll do this first then post. Before you know it, I’m in bed sleeping and no post uploaded *slaps self*. I’m trying to get myself to post at least 3 times a week so that I don’t take too long between posts, especially now that I’m done with uni and awaiting my final results *bites nails*. It’s unnerving waiting for those results man.
Onto the outfit I wore on Sunday for some girl time with Joan. We went to watch Lion King in Covent Garden. One word: AMAZING. It was soo good! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting London to go watch it. I decided to wear a skirt (screw the Winter) because I’m trying to resist the urge to wear jeans especially with this cold weather. I got the pieces in this outfit all on sale (I mostly shop in the sale section because I like to get more bang for my buck) except the boots which were still purchased on a student discount. 🙂
I was this close to wearing an all black outfit but for y’all who know me well know that all black everything outfits are impossible to me. I just can’t wear an all-black outfit. I have tried and failed miserably. I love colour too much! So anyway the outfit is based on 3 colours really: black, white, and cobalt blue (my FAVOURITE colour, which I consider a neutral). I also love prints so much that I consider them neutrals as well. The outfit also features a new texture I’m beginning to love love love – faux leather. Check out the outfit and let me know what you think! Faux leather and prints for the win?
Earrings (not pictured but as seen here) – Forever 21
Bracelets and Snood – Primark
Rings – River Island, H&M
Watch – very old
Jumper – Zara (sale)
Skirt and Bag – Warehouse
Coat – H&M (sale)
Tights – old
Ankle boots – New Look
I’m sure by now you’ve worked out why I added the phrase blurred lines to the post title. Lol. I didn’t want to have to repeat the outfit just to take photos. Photos taken by my love, Joan.
Have a lovely rest of the week! xx
