There’s something about a cinched-in waist…
I’ve been lusting over tea length skirts for ages! One, because I’m just head over heels in love with the cut and shape of tea length skirts. Two, because I always wondered how they’d look on me; and three, because I’ve always wanted to wear a poofy long skirt ever since I can remember.
I got this skirt made for a wedding I attended last Friday, and what better way to dress for a wedding than wear one that’s tea length? I always think that such skirts make you look ultra girly and feminine, which is always the look I go for whenever I put together outfits to wear to a wedding. The skirt was and is so perfect, and wearing it with this black lace top that my Mum gave me was just the perfect combination of all things girly. I feel that wedding outfits should be appropriate and show thought into their style. Is it just me or do you find it quite insulting when people under-dress for weddings when someone took the time out to invite you to share their special day with them?
I don’t know what my obsession is with tea length skirts, but I know this skirt will be the first of many in my wardrobe.
