I don’t always wear red but when I do…
~~Location: EyeQueue Studio~~
…it’s probably a red skirt. I probably own about 3 red items of clothing in my wardrobe. Surprising, right? I’m not so sure why, but I’ve never been inclined to wear anything red. Perhaps it’s because I’m drawn to cooler colours? Maybe because I think I have a cool undertone, which draws me to wears neutral colours: black, white, blue, green… Maybe. In fact, I wear red most in the form of makeup- red lipstick.
Speaking of owning about 3 red items of clothing, this is probably the only other red item I have in my wardrobe. It’s however incorporated into a print. I almost always never wear red actually, so I was quite chuffed to find this skirt -in brick red and textured- about 2 years ago while in Coventry, UK. You guys know how I love pencil skirts as basics and can never get enough of them? This skirt just happens to be one of the many pencil skirts I own, and what I particularly love about it is its texture. It sort of allows for you to wear almost any kind of underwear without it showing, if you know what I mean. Plus in this heat, I’ve been wearing skirts and dresses more than trousers or jeans. As a #NoThighGap girl, I find this pretty essential because, let’s be honest, the heat makes you sweat in unseen places. We wouldn’t want that now, would we?

Random thought: how cool is the sofa I’m seated on? Love how it contrasts against the wall and the floor and matches with my skirt at the same time.
PS- This is the last of the outfits I shot with Migz. Thank you!
Have a great month ahead!
