I went silent again.
Sometimes, I try to churn out as many blog posts as I can, other times it’s reduced to what I actually have time to work on, other times it’s because of challenges like laptops and hard disks crashing, then you’re left with nothing but the hope of keeping on chasing your dreams. There’s so many countless challenges I’ve encountered in my blogging journey, that I feel like nothing fazes me. It’s all about getting up, dusting yourself off and moving on.
On the contrary, my silence has been attributed to just taking time off. Sometimes you need that break from blogging. You know, to kick back, relax and recharge. To think about the direction you want it to take, to think about your blogging -and other- goals. To think about where you see yourself in 1 year, 3 years, 5 years. Plus, it’s good to get off social media every once in a while and just live. You know?
I have lots of ideas about introducing more content to From Curves With Love, after all, life is not all about fashion, although fashion is a good place to start. I’ll be sharing more and different content as often as I can. I wouldn’t want to stick to a strict schedule as sometimes I get super busy with work and life, so I’ll do my best to execute what I can, as often as I can.
Now, onto to today’s outfit. I never quite saw myself ever wearing any form of skirt or dress with slits, but here we are. It is my first slitted skirt, and I am completely in love with it! It is so flattering, plus I love the fact that the jersey fabric makes it more wearable, because it is quite breathable and stretchy, which are among 2 things I look for when buying skirts. It’s a different welcome to always wearing pencil skirts. LOVE.
Can we also please talk about my new obsession with my adidas Original Superstars? I’ve probably worn them EVERY. SINGLE. WEEKEND since I got them. They go with everything. I kid you not. I’ve worn them with skirts, jeans and dresses. The only problem I have right now is that they are more prone to getting dirty, seeing as it is all rainy in Nairobi. Everyone knows how muddy and murky Nairobi gets when it rains. Sigh. Confession: I still wear them and carry an extra pair of shoes in my car. The things we do for fashion lol.
Anyways, lovely people, do have a fantastic rest of the week and keep warm!
