Been a long time since my last post, but just dropping by to remind you that I’m still alive, this blog is still very much alive, and that I fully intend on keeping it alive for the foreseeable future. Since it feels a little weird to be blogging at the moment as it’s been eons in social media years since my last post, here I am sharing a little new favourite gem, a new pyjama set I got last month.
I’m always the kind of girl that can’t really be arsed about what I wear to bed really, because 1) who’ll see me? and 2) comfort over anything. However, in a bid to try and be intentional about everything I do lately, I have sought out to overhaul my sleep wardrobe. No more branded t-shirts, old torn t-shirts or grandmotherly nighties, more sexy, cute, sleep-partner worthy pieces. It’s about high time that your girl upped her sleepwear game.
I had a mill around the Junction Mall early last month, and knowing myself, I always have a browse around the stores whenever I have a few minutes to spare. I always walk into Mr. Price, and as usual, end up in Woolworths. It was here that I stumbled upon the cutest PJ set I’d ever seen in my life* (*emphasis on ever because let’s face it, I hardly ever come across sexy sleepwear in plus sizes). One of my most basic set rules about window shopping (still shopping, nonetheless), is that if I think about the item when I go home, I’ll give it a second consideration before making a purchase decision. Well, with this PJ set, I couldn’t stop thinking about it even after that day I laid my eyes on it, so much so that I shared a random picture of the PJs on my Instagram stories and jokingly asked my followers to buy it for me. As my lucky stars would have it, a lovely follower was so kind enough to buy me the PJ set! How lucky am I? So since I love the set so much, I thought I’d share a few pictures of me in my first (sexy) set of pyjamas. Sexy sleepwear for the win.
PS: all photos taken by me.
