In retrospect…
….I’d probably not wear the boots with the checked shirt and flared jeans in today’s outfit post. I should have traded them with camel/tan wedges. What say you? It is a fashion journey though, so we learn along the way. I’ve pretty much had this shirt for about 2 years, and I honestly have no idea why I would not wear it until now. Hoarder, much? I think not. Sometimes, I become one of those people that save clothes in the name of not wasting them on an insignificant day. Other days I become the you-never-know-the-hour-let’s-just-wear-this-outfit-today-and-not-care-about-tomorrow kind of person. Go HAM or go home. It all depends on my mood, really.
Thankfully for fashion, it allows me to channel my feelings and mood through outfits. Other times, it allows me become a whole different person through channeling hints of retro fashion from past years. I’m pretty much bang on trend with my flared jeans and gingham shirt, if I do say so myself. The boots though? I’d probably wear this to a costume party, complete with a free afro bigger earrings. I’d even dress it up for a night out with a crop top and better boots (preferably pointy heels) and throw on a leather jacket for some edge.
