Now with the current erratic Nairobi weather…
This week has been one hell of a week. It’s rained cats and dogs, cows and goats… you name it. It’s been hot, humid, chilly and rainy all at the same time. It kind of reminds me of English weather to be honest. Now that it’s raining heavily, I feel that sometimes I may get a little confused as to how to dress for the weather. I mean, wearing trench coats doesn’t cut it for me as I find them too heavy, so I choose to layer. I became quite the master layer dresser (does that make sense?) when I lived in London. Don’t get me wrong, I hated it, but I did learn the art of keeping warm -and stylishly at that- through layering. Now, I know it might be a task for some, but for others, it’s a breeze. I usually just choose to go with wearing a jumper with a vest inside depending on the thickness of the jumper. If it’s windy or chilly, I’ll go ahead and chuck on a leather jacket and a scarf. If I’m going out, I’ll make sure my chest is covered, and go bare with the legs (or vice versa). Also, don’t blame me if you keep seeing these heels in my posts. I. Love. Them. To. Death.
I think airy jumpers are probably the best bet with such weather, they tend to keep you cool and warm when needed. Awesome, right? But, I digress. Today’s post is more of channeling sweater weather sexiness. One thing I’ve learnt is that I shouldn’t compromise my style just because of adverse weather. After all, you never know the hour. We make the city streets our runway.

You know, sometimes we get so caught up looking at the things we don’t like about our bodies, when they are indeed what make us who we are. Flaunt your flaws, guys. Be comfortable in the body you’re in.
Anyone up for a makeup tutorial (rather, pictorial) on this look?
Have a superb weekend guys!
