Typical blogger poses in mint and prints.
I think it’s easier to differentiate normal outfit posts from posts that are centered on a certain theme. Right? Each post that is centered around what I’ve worn to work will be called Work Wear.
Now, I’m not sure if I remember the last time I wore anything in mint green, but I can tell you that it’s fast becoming a favourite colour. There’s something about it that screams summer coolness, and not only from the fact that it is a Spring/Summer 2015 colour. Coming from the notion that it has cool/blue undertones, I think it can also be worn in our moody weather right here in Nairobi. Besides the weather, am I the only person that still gets bought clothes by relatives? My aunt in London sent me this gorgeous outfit a few weeks back and I was super excited when the clothes fit. Curvy girl problems, aye? I knew I couldn’t resist wearing it to work and eventually sharing it on the blog with you all.
Top & Skirt – Gifted
Heels – Dorothy Perkins
Bag & Cardigan – H&M
Watch – Old (I’ve had it about 7 years)
I wore this outfit last Tuesday I think, and I received quite a handful of compliments on it. Also, anyone up for a no-makeup, makeup post? This is my makeup look for literally everyday. I like to keep it very simple and minimal. And yes, I sometimes stay all day in heels. I think it’s great practice to walk around the office in heels, so that if you go elsewhere and are on your feet for long periods of time, at least you’re used to it. I stayed all day in these heels when I wore them.
What do you wear to the office? Can’t wait to share more work wear posts!
Have a great day guys!
