Sometimes, all you need is a chill pill.
Okay, not drugs, guys. LOL. I mean literally just taking time out for yourself to relax; have some me time.
For the past few months, I’ve been telling my sisters that all I need is like 2 I’m-not-getting-out-of-bed days. I keep
complaining telling them that I’m tired, I never have enough sleep, I need like a 3-day nap, you know, just basically tired most of the time. Well, not until this past weekend, I went to South Coast for about 5 days, and literally had the best time just vegetating, basically. I did share a few pics here and there on my Instagram (@fromcurveswithlove) of my time there.
TAKE. ME. BACK.
I think it was much needed, especially because I’ve been getting quite busy at work, and I feel like I never have the time to get everything done. So I decided to kick back, relax and chill a little with the family. Sometimes we get so caught up trying to make a living, trying to make our mark in this world that we forget to enjoy its beauty that surrounds us.
But, I digress.
The point of this post is generally to show you what I wear most Sundays, especially if I absolutely have to leave the house. I’ll usually just throw on a basic tee, a pair of jeans and wear flats. If it’s chilly (pun not intended), I’ll throw on a cardigan and a scarf, if it gets too cold. I’ll usually not wear any makeup, except in this post because I had a shoot, and probably only wear moisturizer and lipbalm. Generally, the point is that I tend to chill on everything about my look if I’m having a slow/relaxed day. Plus, it’s good to let your skin breathe every once in a while.
Tee – JC Penney
Jeans – Macy’s
Flats – Target (they are SO worn out)
Necklace – New Look
Watch – ASOS (via UK Dukas)
Besides jeans and t-shirts though, I’d love it if it were possible to wear pajamas in public on lazy days. Shouldn’t our outfits be as lazy as our lazy days?
Have a great weekend!
